Ally Radio: Breaking down DCSD and a trip to Basque Country

Listen to Ally Radio for July 28, 2023

A photograph from an aerial perspective of homes, with a green and foggy background. Northern Spain.

This week’s Ally Radio is going international (sort of). But first, we start by going over the latest from the Douglas County School District with Rocío Hernández, education reporter with the Nevada Independent, and we get a civics refresher on constitutional amendments with Dr. Sondra Cosgrove from the College of Southern Nevada.

Then, we chat with recent University of Nevada, Reno graduate, Rachael Reyes, about her experience as an English teaching assistant in the Basque Country of northern Spain.

Listen to new episodes of Ally Radio every Friday at noon on KNVC, 95.1FM, Carson City Community Radio. The Sierra Nevada Ally is now available as a podcast! You can listen to the latest audio news reports from our team on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, or by searching “Sierra Nevada Ally” wherever you listen.
