On this week’s Ally Radio, the Sierra Nevada Ally’s Scott King joins the show to talk about efforts to build green energy infrastructure and transmission throughout rural Nevada. While well intentioned, these projects have the potential to harm the communities they’re meant to serve.

Then, we chat with Dr. Sondra Cosgrove, history professor at the College of Southern Nevada about AB528, a new law that will give private nonprofit organizations up to $100 million in matching state funds to address homelessness. But, is the bill designed to help specific interests?

Listen to new episodes of Ally Radio every Friday at noon on KNVC, 95.1FM, Carson City Community Radio. The Sierra Nevada Ally is now available as a podcast!
