On Tuesday March 18 Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak closed all nonessential businesses in the state. He initially allowed cannabis dispensaries to remain open if proper social distancing guidelines were observed, but in a followup business order closure issued on Friday March 20, the Governor updated the guidelines for dispensary operation.
“Retail cannabis dispensaries may operate by delivery only pursuant to the guidance that shall be issued by the Department of Taxation in conjunction with the Cannabis Compliance Board effective March 20, 2020, at 11:59 p.m.”
