Carson City – The results of the 2018 midterm election have been tabulated, and here are the results for contested Carson City races.
Assembly District 40
Assembly District 40 includes Carson City, the Washoe Valley and a tiny part of Reno, and incumbent Republican Al Kramer defeated Democrat Autumn Zemke 58.78 percent of the vote to 41.22 percent for Zemke.
Board of Supervisors:
For Ward 1, Stacey Giomi defeated John Wood 66.54 percent to 33.46 percent.
Carson City Sheriff:
Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong has won a fifth term in office defeating challenger Lorne Houle 78.86 percent to 21.14 percent.

Kristin Luis narrowley defeated Ryan Russel for Carson City Justice of the Peace Dept. 2 50.92 percent to 49.08
